About Moro Aircraft

Moro Aircraft Leasing was formed in December 2000 in Fairbanks, Alaska, by Ward Rosadiuk and Colleen Mondor. Rosadiuk was born and raised in the Interior and has over 15,000 flight hours, almost all of it Alaska time, in aircraft such as the Cessna 207, Piper Navajo and Beech 1900. He worked for both Part 135 and Part 121 carriers in Alaska over the course of his professional pilot career and was based in areas ranging from Bethel and Galena to Fairbanks and Anchorage.

Colleen Mondor has degrees in Aviation Management, History and Northern Studies. Her thesis was written on the causes of pilot error accidents among Alaskan air taxis and commuters and she was employed for several years as the lead dispatcher for a FAR Part 135 bush commuter based in Fairbanks and also as assistant to the Chief Pilot for a FAR Part 121 operation. She was co-curator for the aviation exhibit at the Alaska State Museum in Juneau, and has written about Alaska aviation for newspapers and magazines including Alaska Dispatch, the Anchorage Daily News, Plane & Pilot and Men’s Journal.

Together Ward Rosadiuk and Colleen Mondor comprise over fifty years of aviation experience. They have owned and operated multiple aircraft including the Falcon 50, Socata 700C2, BE1900, Mitsubuishi Marquise, Aero Commander, Merlin IVC-H, Air Tractor 802, Eurocopter 350, BN2 and Cessna 207. Long term plans for Moro are centered around obtaining deeper business relationships with others in the aviation community and acquiring additional aircraft that will continue the company’s professional success.
